Live Indian Language Courses for Kids and Adults Languages Offered: Gujarati • Hindi • Punjabi Malayalam • Marathi Registration open now SPRING 2024 SESSION Attend class from home! Now you or your kids can learn Gujarati, Hindi, or Punjabi with a native speaker! Classes are kept small so that every student receives teacher attention and tools needed to fully learn a new language. During these weekly classes, you (if you're interested in Adult Class) or your kids will participate and interact with the teacher in real-time. You can ask questions and get answers right away, practice speaking , and receive feedback. Learning with Sanskar Teaching is always fun. SPRING 2024 SESSION TRUE BEGINNER CLASS This class is for students have little to no organic exposure to the language and have no prior experience learning the language. Students who are brand new to our school should start here and then can jump into another level in the next session. TRUE BEGINNER ENROLLMENT PRESCHOOL CLASS Our preschool classes are 30 minutes long and best suited for children ages 3 to 5 or 6 years old. Older children should consider looking into Level 1 and 2 classes. Because of the age of the students in Preschool class, language will be taught primarily through activities and verbal skills will include lots of repetition. ​ Look forward to stories in Gujarati, Hindi, and Punjabi songs, simple prayers and some Craft Activities. Children will play game s in class and learn the Basic Alphabet in fun ways. ​ Since classes are held on Zoom, you can participate from anywhere...by phone or computer! PRESCHOOL ENROLLMENT KIDS CLASS Sanskar Teaching offers 4 levels of Kid Classes to serve all skill and age levels. Kids Level 1 class is 30 minutes while levels 2 & 3 are 45 minutes. Classes cover topics such as vocab , likely scenarios and grammar. We also include games, like 'Chhagan kahe which is similar to 'Simon Says', so that students are regularly shifting their energy and not getting bored sitting in front of a screen. ​ Since classes are held on Zoom, you can participate from anywhere...by phone or computer! EXPLORE KIDS CLASSES ADULT CLASS Our Adult classes are for anyone who needs a Gujarati or Hindi Refresher as well as for anyone learning the language new from scratch. ​ Adult classes are 60 minutes and great for comprehension and for gaining confidence in speaking. You'll learn grammar , vocabulary, cultural norms, have in-class presentations. as well as, direct access to your teacher for support. ​ Since classes are held on Zoom, you can participate from anywhere...by phone or computer! EXPLORE ADULT CLASSES PRIVATE LESSONS Sometimes, learning one-on-one is the best way for a person, so Sanskar Teaching offers an option to do 30, 45 or 60 minute private tutoring options for all of Sanskar Teaching's Indian languages. ​ Our Private Lessons are 7 week packages, you pick the date and time and we match you with a Indian Language Tutor that best suits your needs. ​ Since tutoring sessions are held online Zoom, you can participate from anywhere...by phone or computer! It's about connecting generations. OUR FOUNDER Vaishali Patel has been teaching Gujarati language and culture to adults and children since 2002. Growing up in Baroda, India and immigrating permanently to the United States at age 16, Vaishali is uniquely positioned with a view into the best of both worlds. Living in an extended Gujarati family inspired Vaishali to pass along the value of her homeland traditions to her own 2 children by teaching them and others in the community. Her outreach programs have since expanded to include Live Zoom Gujarati, Hindi, and Punjabi Classes, an online course that can be done at your own pace, learning tools such as the Gujarati and Hindi Memory Games, Gujarati Alphabet Flashcards, Tales of Krishna and Ramayana and Clothing of India available on Amazon, all developed to enhance a deeper understanding of Desi culture and relationships with our extended family. She brought her experience in the film industry and as a writer, marketer and entrepreneur to the business of her dear friend. Besides loving all things Indian, Siri is a traveler at heart. Meghan is a creative force for Sanskar Teaching. Currently studying Fashion design at Savannah College of Art and Design, she applies her knowledge of color and balance alongside the vibrant Indian Culture to create beautiful graphics and brand designs. @wanderawaywithsirikay MEGAN CUTLER Marketing Manager Megan Cutler is a graduate from Brigham Young University where she cultivated an entrepreneurial mindset while studying Advertising.
